Ondergronds / Bovengronds presents:

Tribute to a legend! For fifteen years now, the world has to do without the legendary Ray Charles. The blind pianist from Georgia died in 2004, but his musical legacy remains intact.
And if there is now one musician in Belgium who has the right to honor Ray Charles, then it is the notorious Antwerp pianist Boogie Boy.

The man who shared the stage with John Lee Hooker in the 1970s, went to a cafe with Muddy Waters and was good friends with Mr. Charles himsélf, today still fills concert halls worldwide with his catchy sound full of boogie woogie, soul and rhytm ‘n’ blues.

From New York to Tel Aviv and also in Antwerp on Thursday 14 March: Boogie Boy & His Woogies pay tribute to Ray Charles.

Hit the road, Jack!
