ANTIGONE

Antigone is a young Parisian artist at the fore-‐front of the French techno scene. His entry into the world of electronic music has been highly acclaimed. With his initial EP Forbidden Works published by Construct Re-‐form. Antigone followed his debut with the Menace of Species release on Concrete Music, an offering warmly welcomed by the techno scene. Up next, Antigone successfully collaborated with his friend Francois X who releases him on his label Dement3d, and they both release the same year a track on the Various Artists Taapion 004. Tracks like “As I walk to you” for Construct Re-‐Form or his EP ” he Day The Sky Fell” (for Indigo Aera) illustrate the hypnotic, melodic and melancholic style of his productions. This very personal electronic style has guided Antigone through the doors of clubs such as Fuse, Trouw, Corsica Studios, Rex, Tresor, Berghain and awarded him a residency at Concrete. His meteoric ascent and the warm reception to all his productions make Antigone an emblematic player in the French Techno scene. In 2016, he released a track on PoleGroup (Compilation Unknown Landscapes Vol. 3 mixed by Exium), did a remix with Shlømo for AWB (Taapion Records) , then released « We Move As One EP » in collaboration with François X on Dement3d, and the EP Saudade on Token Records.

FRANCOIS X

Francois X has steadily established himself as a key character in the burgeoning techno movement in Paris. DJ and producer, his unique musical style, whether alone or as Hiss : 1292 (his collaborative project with Opuswerk) puts the listener into a hypnotic trance by its cinematic and vivid atmosphere.

Following ten years of relentless djing, Dj Deep, a friend and mentor of long date produced his first three records on Deeply Rooted. These releases not only gave his production the strongest public introduction possible but also allowed for one of his works to be revisited by Marcel Dettmann.

Francois X is also co-founder with Heartbeat of Dement3d, a record label hosting the first appearance of musicians such as Sandwell District in Paris and today entirely focused on recording budding talents besides established artists such as his colleagues Polar Inertia, his dual with Hiss : 1292 as well as his own solo projects.

Francois X’s music charmed and captivated an important character in his life, Marcel Dettmann, equally a friend and musical inspiration. “Rising” appears in Marcel Dettmann’s Fabric 77 who will release the track on his label, MDR in a couple of months and launches him as a great international musician of increasing notoriety.

His consistently exceptional DJ sets secured Francois X a residence at Concrete, the world-famous parisian party, as well as regular slots at some of Europe’s leading clubs and festivals including Berghain.

SHLOMO

Since the debut of Shlømo on Wolfskuil Ltd in 2015, the young DJ and producer has taken off touring the world alongside techno heavy-weights and managed to put out a slew of twelve-inches on labels including Delsin, and Marcelus’ Singular Records to name a few.

September 16th will present the Frenchman’s sophomore release on Darko Esser’s Wolfskuil Limited series with 5 stellar tracks that emulate the beauty of depth of his productions.

‘Vanished Breath’ opens the EP with a beautiful introduction, smooth atmospheric pads transcend before the breakbeat inspired percussions of ‘The Ritual’.

On the flip-side Shlømo brings the heat with ‘Obsession’, a proper club stomper with its resounding bass kick and climaxing hi-hats, while ‘M.U.M.’ delivers a synth-heavy travel through space a time.

As an extra digital bonus, Shlømo includes another edit of ‘Obsession’ with the Drums Takeover Mix which replaces some light airy pads with a little extra punch.
