Underground Resistance LIVE (Underground Resistance), US

There’s a musical chain running from the past through the present and into the future. The links in that chain, what holds things together, is the Timeline. High tech jazz for forward thinking music lovers, Timeline has taken on many forms, most recently as the linking of Underground Resistance founder Mad Mike with Jon Dixon, keyboardist, and DeSean Jones, saxophonist, both from the supergroup Galaxy 2 Galaxy. Joined by UR DJ/producer Mark Flash, these four take elements of jazz and techno and combine them into something familiar, yet different. Once upon a time, jazz was the definition of innovation, dominating the dance clubs and opening people’s minds to infinite possibilities.

Paranoid London LIVE (Paranoid London), UK

Paranoid London Live is made up of two live performers + one vocalist. The group was born out of a desire to do things differently, bored of how house music has developed. Using vintage synthesisers and outboard equipment they deliver warehouse/acid tracks with a carefully selected vocalist to achieve the Paranoid London sound.

Blawan (Hessle Audio, R&S Records), UK

Causing quite a stir in the UK underground with gossip mongers, Blawan’s ‘Fram/Iddy’ release from Hessle Audio was mistaken by many to be an alias of Ben UFO-Hessle Audio’s cofounder.
His cold, percussive productions have grabbed the attention of not only Hessle Audio but legendary record label R&S Records, who released his “Bohla EP” in March 2011.

Surgeon (Tresor, Token Records), UK

Recently dubbed by Fact magazine as “arguably the finest techno DJ in the world”, Surgeon is also naturally one of the most in-demand, Contemporary Surgeon sets are notable for experimentation with new DJ technologies embracing cutting edge hardware and software solutions, increasingly blurring the line between a DJ set and a live performance.

Petar Dundov (Music Man Records), HR

Born in Zagreb in the early ‘70s, his career in dance music stretches back the best part of 20 years, but it’s only in the new millennium that he’s been using his own name for his productions. e counts a longstanding relationship with Belgium’s legendary Music Man label, To Dundov, “techno is music that precedes movement. It is dance music, solid enough to carry emotions through the dance floor and abstract enough to be a template for ever”.

Supported by Ampere resident Joachim and Fuse resident Pierre.
