“It’s not often this happens, maybe once every few years, but extreme weather and activities in nature make air travel too difficult to move around safely. Many years ago, one of my most memorable situations was when a volcano erupted in Iceland and all transatlantic flights were canceled due to volcanic ash in the stratosphere that could have clogged the air plane’s engines.
Due to the extreme weather in Britain, my outbound Leeds-Bradford flight this morning was canceled.
Without many options to re-route the travel to the eventual city of Antwerp, we regret to inform you that this evening’s debut event. The Edgar Mitchell Affair will be postponed and rescheduled for a later date. The detailed preparation and planning will not go in vain and we hope that you can be informed of a suitable date soon.
We thank you for your patience and understanding. Mother Nature is still the boss”
