On February 20th, Headspace returns to Ampere, focusing on the deeper, more soulful currents of drum & bass — music driven by atmosphere, groove, and long-form progression rather than peaks alone.
At the center of the night is Technimatic, a duo whose work has helped define modern liquid D&B by balancing emotional weight with underground credibility. From key releases on Hospital Records and Shogun Audio to their more recent output on their own imprint, their sound continues to evolve while staying rooted in feeling and function.
A much-anticipated b2b between GLXY and Satl follows, pairing two voices of the new wave. Minimal, detailed, and rich in melody, their selections lean into warmth, restraint, and subtle dancefloor pressure.
Alibi brings a precise, groove-led approach shaped by deep technical knowledge, delivering sets that emphasize clarity, control, and understated impact. GEST adds contrast with forward-looking selections marked by immersive sound design and acidic tension.
Local representation comes from Hiraeth and Avalon, highlighting the strength of Belgium’s drum & bass community. With ties to labels such as Liquicity, Fokuz, Spearhead, and Shogun, and years of selector experience behind them, they complete a carefully balanced lineup.
