The 1st annual KOD World Cup in 2016 was definitely one for the books! The whole tour was jam packed full of talented dancers from all over the world representing their countries in hopes to win the title of the Best Street Dancers in the World. After 3 intense days of World Cup Finals in Los Angeles, USA, Team Korea went home as the champions.
The only right way for KOD is upwards and onwards as we’re now gearing up for the 2018 KOD World Cup! During the 2016 season we only had 8 countries participating in the KOD World Tour, but the 2017-2018 season is going to have over 20 countries battling it out to take the title from Team Korea.
After much deliberation and consideration from many candidates around the world that submitted to be the host of the 2018 KOD World Cup Finals, it was decided that China would be the perfect home for the 2018 KOD World Cup Finals.
KOD awards by far the biggest prize money of all street dance competitions in the world.The total prize money for the 2018 KOD World Cup is astonishing 500.000 USD. Yes, you read right, half a million dollars!
The first ever KOD BENELUX will be organized in Antwerp, Belgium on March 11th, 2018.
The competition is only for dancers who either have the passport of Belgium, the Netherlands or Luxembourg or permanent residence in any of these three Benelux countries.
