Ampere is proud to host a MORD night featuring label founder Bas Mooy, UVB, Charlton & Ansome (live).

Hailing from Rotterdam, MORD is known for its sinister and industrial sound with relentless groove. The label has hosted works from artists such as Neil Landstrumm, Oscar Mulero, Rebekah or Delta Funktionen.
Rotterdam home-based dj/producer Bas Mooy has been active on many fronts in the techno scene since 1999. Heavily influenced by a city that breaths industrial strength twenty-fourseven, he gradually found his way into creating an unique dark sound, which lead him to the forefront of the global techno scene. In 2013 Bas started his solo project Mord Records, which rapidly gained a huge fanbase worldwide and has been a major force in techno ever since.
British producer and DJ Ansome has made himself a reputation of delivering a brutal mix of belligerent and uncompromising techno. With previous releases on labels such as Perc Tax, Rave or Die and MORD, Kieran Whitefield aka ANSOME is bringing his new live set to Ampere.

Drawing inspiration from both soulful melodic tones and the harder and grittier side of music, UVB has been exploring this contrasted sonic world for the last decade. With a few releases on MORD under his belt, the French producer often melts different musical universes together juggling between 3 or 4 tracks at once, drawing a parallel between his DJ and producer mind.
Coming from the Dutch city of Rotterdam, Charlton (also known as Tapirus) has been releasing various styles of techno and electro for 15 years! After living for long stretches in London and Berlin, he is currently settled in Rotterdam working on various music & community projects with the local scene. With a strong connection to his home city, its obvious how the city and its music history of hardcore and techno has shaped one aspect of his sound. He was of course also influenced by his time in London and connecting with Surface Records head Nick Dunton and the renowned Sandwell District / Blueprint waves of UK techno!
